Senior of the Year Awardees

The Senior of the Year Award is given to select alumni who have contributed a large amount of their time and effort into the Waiakea High School TLC Robotics team. These alumni have shown that their effort knows no bounds and that they have left a lasting impact on the team. The alumni for this award have been hand-picked by our advisor Tom Murphy who has seen their journey in the robotics team. These alumni have propelled our robotics team to what it is today and for that, we are forever grateful.

C/O 2023 Alumni

  • President

C/O 2023 president Hiro showed us what it was like to work as a team. He was always willing to assist those in need and went out of his way to make the team successful. Under his leadership, a connection between members was established and made strong, propelling us to a strong year in the FRC competition. He was awarded a prestigious ROTC full ride scholarship to UC Davis to study Aerospace Engineering.

  • Build team

Damien was a hard-working individual who always willing to do work for his fellow members on the build team. Being on the build team for 4 years, he gained the respect of not only our members, but our advisors. Damien was always willing to do the work that no one wanted to, anything hard or simply tedious was always sent to him, and he did it willingly. We would like to thank Damien for his hard work and determination.
