HIRA
HIRA (Hawaii Island Robotics Academy) is a 5-day camp intended to teach students grades 3 to 6 the importance of STEAM and its principles.
Students participate in fun activities such as flying drones, building Letry robots, programming using Raspberry Pis, VEX IQ, CAD , 3D printing, and much more!

Aloha,
This fall, we are excited to host our 18th annual Hawai`i Island Robotics Academy (HIRA), sponsored by the Waiakea High Robotics club and the Waiakea High School Technology Learning Center. HIRA is a 5 day program in which students design, build, and test various technology applications, including robots and other devices. Students in grades 3-6 will be introduced to programming and robotics as tools for solving problems and challenges using Arduino Uno, 3D printing, and VEX IQ robotics.
