This Summer 2024…

We will be holding our 17th annual Hawai’i Island Robotics Academy (HIRA) hosted by the Waiakea High Robotics Club and Waiakea High School Technology Learning Center. HIRA is a 5-day experience from July 22-26 in which students design, build and test various technology applications including robots and other devices. Students will be introduced to programming and robotics as tools for solving problems and challenges using the VEX IQ robotics for grades 3-6. All students will also rotate through another session where they get to build, test, and bring home another project when the program finishes to further their interest in science. Payment will be taken through check only. Please see the sign-up sheet below for more details. For questions, please email frc1056@gmail.com. Sign-ups are only accepted by mail.
