The Waiakea Technology Learning Center is an after-school extracurricular program where students learn various skills along the STEM pathway. We design, build, and program robots whilst educating others about STEM. We have multiple divisions that achieve different goals that work together to benefit the whole team, allowing us to travel nationally and internationally for FIRST Robotics competitions.
F.I.R.S.T Robotics Competition
The F.I.R.S.T Robotics Competition is our main project/activity every year—a series of international robotics competitions at the high school level—new games are presented with the goal being to build a robot to compete in competitions that satisfy the games criteria.
A 5-day summer camp that educates students from the age of 3rd grade to 6th grade about STEM. We do activities like competitive robotics (VEX IQ), drones, 3D printing and CAD, electronics, programming, and more!
